Join us for an online meeting of our Artist Network!

Designed as a safe space for artists who use Jewish themes in their practice – whether that’s visual arts, music, theatre, or craft – the network offers an opportunity for us to get to know you, and for you to connect with other artists and creatives.

In this session, artist Jo Scorah will share a presentation about her practice, with an opportunity for any other attendees to share what they are currently working on. This will be followed by an informal group discussion on the question – what makes Jewish work Jewish? No one is obliged to take part though so if you’d just rather listen then that’s absolutely fine!

Please note – this event will take place on zoom. A zoom link will be emailed to you on confirmation of your booking.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Jo Scorah’s work concentrates on issues of the inner self. Wrapping, binding, encasing and hanging. Frequently in states of disarray ‘verging on collapse’, they become sculptural interventions that are centred on the body, embracing a sense of nomadism. Jo’s recent work included a textile project for Manchester Jewish Museum’s 2024 time capsule.
