Whether you’re planning a corporate gathering, a wedding reception, or a private celebration, our new corporate and private hire scheme offers exclusive use of our museum’s spaces for you and your guests to enjoy.

Following a £6m redevelopment and extension in 2019-21 our museum includes a modern gallery, vegetarian café, shop and learning studio with kitchen as well as a beautifully restored 1874 Spanish & Portuguese synagogue.

Hire of Entire Museum

Exclusive access to the entire building including the gallery and synagogue.

Maximum capacity: 150

Daytime from 10am – 4pm:

  • Monday to Friday – from £700.00
  • Saturday & Sunday – from £800.00

Earlier access to set-up available, please speak with the museum representative you are booking with.

Evening from 6pm – 10pm:

  • Monday to Sunday – £100 per hour.

Please note:

For evening events that start later than 6pm, the £100 fee is applicable for the previous hours. E.g., For an event that starts at 8pm, the total hire fee would need to include the hours between 6pm-8pm.

Hire of Synagogue

Access to the synagogue with use of the café/atrium as a welcome space.

Maximum capacity: 120

Evening – from 6pm – 10pm:

  • Monday to Sunday – from £100 per hour

Synagogue Extras

Synagogue AV set up – £50
Package includes: Projector, screen & audio/pa system.

We ask that clients provide their own laptop for events that include video presentations.

Hire of Learning Studio

Exclusive use of our standalone meeting space and classroom.

Maximum capacity: 40

Daytime 10:30am-1:30pm or 1:30pm-5pm:

  • Monday to Sunday – from £200 per half day

Evening – from 6pm – 10pm

  • Monday to Thursday – from £200
  • Friday to Sunday – from £240

Learning Studio Extras

Self-Serve Hot Drinks Station: Selection of black & herbal tea, filter coffee, milk, milk alternative & biscuits from £3.00 per person

All consumables are kosher approved. Kosher supervised available upon request.

Café Bar

£20 per staff member, per hour.

Arrangements for refreshments to be made separately with the Museum.

Extra Security

If your event requires security officers, the fee for this is £17 per hour, per officer.

We held our NHEG launch event at MJM. All the staff were fantastic. The booking process was quick, easy, and the room was a blank canvas, allowing us to show videos and slides. Our speakers and supporters felt very well looked after with plenty of drinks and snacks, the highlight for most being the freshly made food.
