Join us on Sunday, 10th December, for some fun Chanukah-themed activities and get in the festive spirit!
We’ve planned a range of family-friendly activities, inspired by the festival of light. We will be making Chanukah-themed origami, baking and decorating chocolate gelt, and playing dreidel.
Come along and discover more about the rich and diverse history of Jewish Manchester. Entry to the museum is included in your ticket, so there will be plenty of time to explore our 1874 Spanish and Portuguese synagogue and museum galleries. Children can also grab one of our Activity Backpacks!
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
This workshop is open to anyone, of all ages. Children must be supervised by an accompanying adult.
This is a drop-in event, so you can join us anytime between 10:30am and 1pm. During the session you will get to make and decorate your own dairy-free chocolate gelt, take part in origami-making and play some dreidel! You will also have an opportunity to visit the museum after the workshop.
Please contact maddie@manchesterjewishmuseum.com if you have any allergies or dietary requirements prior to the workshop.
