The World is changed by the women you push too far. This one-woman play brings to light the forgotten story of Sara Wesker, a trade union leader and source of inspiration!
The past is littered with those who shook the world, only to be all but erased from its pages. Chopped Liver and Unions brings one such figure back to life.
Join us on International Workers’ Day to discover the story of Sara Wesker, who led the “singing strikers of 1928,” took to the barricades at Cable Street, and fought for the workers of the East End. A woman of principle, fire, and ferocious conviction. But what did it cost her? And, in the end, did it even matter?
This critically acclaimed, OffFest-nominated play has captivated audiences from New York to Edinburgh. Don’t miss your chance to see it.
