Learning
Our new museum includes a brand-new learning studio and educational gallery as well as complete restoration of our synagogue, providing the perfect hands-on environment for schools wishing to learn more about Jewish culture.
We are offering two half day workshops from September: Synagogue & Sabbath and Festivals & Feasts. These can also be booked together as one full day, giving your students the full Manchester Jewish Museum experience.
Our Groups
Our community activities and groups are a great way to connect with people, learn new skills and have a great time while engaging with history and culture.
Whether you’re a foodie, a crafter or a budding song-writer, we’ve got the perfect activities for you.
FAMILIES
We are a museum where families are welcome! Whether you and your family want to drop in for some vegetarian treats in our café, or you want to take part in one of our family events, we welcome people of all ages.
Family Activity Packs
Make sure to ask at the welcome desk for a Family Pack Rucksack! This activity pack suitable for ages 4-10 includes activity and colouring sheets, scavenger hunts, a magnifying glass, dreidel games and more. Help your little ones explore the history of Jewish Manchester.
